VIANEX receives re-certification from TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD)

VIANEX, the leading Greek pharmaceutical company with over 95 years of experience in a wide range of activities, was re-certified by TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) in a number of key fields for the pharmaceutical industry.

Specifically, TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) inspected and re-certified VIANEX with regard to the Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO 9001: 2015 standard. This certification pertains to the central administrative offices of the company, the factories in Metamorfosi, Pallini and Patras, and the distribution centre, as well as scientific and medical information procedures.

In addition, it inspected and re-certified the VIANEX distribution centre in accordance with ISO standard 13485: 2016 which relates to the marketing and distribution of medical wound treatment products, blood collection needles, foot hygiene products, blood sugar measurement and self-diagnosis systems. It also inspected and re-certified VIANEX in the same field pursuant to Ministerial Decision 1348/04 of the Ministry of Health with regard to the system of Principles and Guidelines for Good Practice in Distribution of Medical Devices of the company, based on the requirements of Ministerial Decision ΔΥ8δ/ΓΠ οικ. 1348, Government Gazette Series II No 32.

The certification of the pharmaceutical company in all the above fields by TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) is confirmation of the excellent cooperation between the two leading companies and is the culmination of their long-standing relationship which began in 1994 when VIANEX was certified under the ISO 9001 standard. It is noted that VIANEX was the first pharmaceutical company to be inspected and certified based on this standard, and it is one of the first Greek companies which has been keeping its certificates up to date and continually passing inspections for over 25 years now.

The pharmaceutical company has four state-of-the-art specialist factories and over 95 years of experience, with first class performance in a wide range of activities, including production, marketing, export and distribution of pharmaceuticals.

Ms Maria Pitsika, Chief Inspector of TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) declared the following: “From the first inspection at VIANEX until today, it can be seen that the Quality Management System that is applied in all the activities of the pharmaceutical company continues to follow a path of significant improvement, which supports its entrepreneurial endeavours. The Quality Management System is led by the top management and the Quality Management team as a whole, a fact that substantiates the company's commitment to this goal, historically and at all levels”.

Mr Dimitris P. Giannakopoulos, Chairman and CEO of the VIANEX Group, had the following to say on the matter: “For all of us at VIANEX and VIAN , quality in production is synonymous with caring for people.
