VIANEX cooperates with the non-profit association Be-Live and supports couples in Samos

VIANEX, the leading Greek pharmaceuticals manufacturer, in cooperation with the non-profit association Be-Live, has been actively supporting couples who face reproductive and financial difficulties, and, specifically, it has ‘adopted’ the island of Samos for a whole year. This means that couples who live on the island can get in touch with the association and be given an opportunity to give life to their dream of becoming parents and having their own child.
From its inception up to the present day, VIANEX has unfailingly shown its support for people and communities, with a strong sense of responsibility, with respect, and with practical contributions through a wide variety of programmes and action initiatives. Given that “responsibility” is always the cornerstone of its philosophy and development, in September VIANEX began a special collaboration with the association Be-Live, and has adopted the work of the association in full for the island of Samos, aiming to enable in vitro fertilization for couples and to cover the cost of the necessary procedures.
The programme, which has now been going for the last six months, has already brought good news: the first couple from Samos who got in touch with the association are expecting to hold their baby in their arms in July. At the same time, three other couples have begun the process of investigation and initiation of IVF treatment, with very positive indications so far.
With the low birth rate being a major issue for Greece, and for Europe in general, VIANEX listens to the problems facing communities and is supporting the island of Samos, so that every child who is loved before it is even born can be brought into the world.

The non-profit association Be-Live (www.be-live.gr ) was founded in 2019 by the reproductive gynecologists Vassilis D. Kellaris and Haris Ch. Chiniadis. The Be-Live team consists of experienced professionals from fields including medicine, health sciences, finance, communications, and elsewhere. In addition, Be-Live’s activities are strengthened by the participation of volunteers, companies, sponsors and friends. Be-Live has developed partnerships in Attica and in more remote areas, as well as in the provinces and on islands, in order to enhance its work regarding access to all assisted reproductive methods, offering hope to infertile couples who do not have the financial capacity to cover the costs of in vitro fertilization.
