VIANEX supports the children of the Pediatric Oncology Unit ‘Marianna V. Vardinogianni - ELPIDA’ (‘HOPE’)

With a firm commitment to Greek communities during Easter time, VIANEX, the leading Greek pharmaceutical company, proceeded with another act of love and solidarity in collaboration with the philanthropic association “ELPIDA (Hope) - Association of Friends of Children with Cancer”. With a view to bringing joy and optimism, VIANEX donated a substantial number of books with uplifting and encouraging content for children hospitalised at the Pediatric Oncology Unit ‘Marianna V. Vardinogianni - ELPIDA’, as well as for those who visit for outpatient treatment. With these beautiful gifts, the staff of VIANEX sent their own special wishes to the children in delightful greetings cards purchased by the company from the “The Smile of the Child” child welfare association.

Mr Dimitris P. Giannakopoulos, President of BoD and CEO of the VIANEX Group, had the following to say about the initiative: “The work of the ELPIDA Association and Ms Vardinogannis is substantial, important and commendable. VIANEX, and I myself personally, have stood at the side of the President, Ms Vardinogiannis, and the Association for many years , supporting its efforts and always responding to its needs, so that support can be provided to the children and their families who need it the most”.

The Founder and President of the Association ‘ELPIDA (Hope) - Association of Friends of Children with Cancer’, Ms Marianna V.
